The challenge in the mining industry is to provide doors that will better withstand the harsh, dirty environments than the doors currently used. Additionally, many mining operations have added new, larger trucks to their mining truck fleet. These mega trucks require larger door openings for access to wash bay and maintenance facilities. Traditional larger doors have been rendered inoperable under high wind conditions and require considerable maintenance due to the corrosive environment.
All Megadoors are specifically engineered for the particular application being considered, and are installed and maintained by local firms who specialize in servicing the mining industry. Each door is constructed with corrosive resistant components, utilizing the unique Megadoor lifetime guaranteed lifting belt system which requires no lubrication, thus eliminating costly maintenance and clean-up. The Megadoor's internal structural design ensures operation even under high wind conditions, and the door tightness dramatically reduces air and dust infiltration, while improving the working environment.
